Job Title: Finance Vice President Summary:

We are seeking a strategic financial leader to join our team as the VP Finance. In this role, you will provide actionable insights and drive informed decision making to support our global operations. As the VP Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, and treasury. Responsibilities:

• Strategic insights and leadership: o Collaborate closely with business leaders to make financial decisions

o Identify underlying trends and drivers by analyzing and reporting key financial and operational results

o Provide financial analyses and insights to support strategic initiatives and decision making

o Drive the development of the annual operating plan to meet strategic goals and initiatives

o Support growth and strategic goals by collaborating with the CFO and senior leadership

o Lead the financial integration process for acquisitions

• Efficiently handle day-to-day transactional activities:

o Ensure accuracy and timeliness of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes o Oversee various accounting functions, including general accounting, payroll, treasury, and technical accounting activities

o Prepare and publish precise and timely monthly financial statements

o Manage the preparation of quarterly debt compliance calculations and documentation

o Oversee the annual audit, including direct interaction with independent auditors

• Drive continuous improvement:

o Implement updated and globally consistent accounting policies and procedures

o Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure policy compliance

o Enhance scalability and operational efficiency by leading financial process optimization efforts

o Improve efficiency by implementing and enhancing ERP systems and financial tools

• Foster a high-performing accounting team, promoting professional growth and a culture of excellence

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA certification is required

Experience:

• Progressively advanced accounting experience in a multinational environment, with at least 8 years in a leadership role

• Preferred experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm

• Preferred experience working in a financial role for a PE-backed portfolio company

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proven ability to build and maintain robust financial systems that provide actionable insights for business strategy

• Deep understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices

• Highly preferred industry experience in food or related manufacturing

• Strong understanding of cost accounting, financial modeling, and operational KPIs in a manufacturing setting

• Experience in managing audits, implementing accounting policies, and improving operational processes

• Track record in ERP system implementation and process improvement

• Experience in M&A, including integration and post-closing performance measurement

• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

• Superior communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to explain complex financial information to diverse stakeholders

• Proven ability to manage and inspire high-performing teams in fast-paced environments

• Ability to challenge assumptions and ideas

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting, financial reporting, and treasury teams as direct reports.

• The role involves supervising and monitoring the work performance of direct reports, including making final decisions on hiring and disciplinary actions, evaluating program/work objectives and effectiveness, and realigning work and staffing assignments, as necessary.

• Develop the functional responsibilities of individuals reporting to this position and ensure the production of top-quality output.
