Water Resources Engineer

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in the water resources discipline.
Our team collaborates with private land developers, corporations, municipalities, and transportation DOT's/agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region.
This offers you the opportunity to work on diverse projects with various clients across multiple offices within our company. Every employee will play a crucial role in projects that require their unique skills and expertise.
In this role, you will support different projects by undertaking a wide range of water resources-related tasks, including hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, stormwater management and drainage design, erosion and sediment control design, flood studies, bridge hydraulics and scour analysis, as well as plan and report preparation.
We are currently seeking a Water Resources/H&H Engineer with the following responsibilities:
- Support H&H, ES&C, drainage, and SWM tasks associated with projects for multiple clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, with a primary focus on Pennsylvania and opportunities to provide design work to surrounding states.
- Interact with internal staff and clients regarding project development and design.
- Develop project plans, technical reports, quantities, and specifications. If you aspire to task or project management, we offer opportunities to manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Occasionally collect field data and conduct site visits.
- Engage in diversified projects and assignments with different clients.
Required Attributes:
- Minimum Education: BSCE
- Preferably FE/EIT, PE
- Work experience: 5-12 years in water resources engineering
- Proficiency in hydrologic/hydraulic (H&H) modeling, stormwater collection systems, floodplain management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, scour analysis, erosion and sediment control design, drainage design, stormwater management design, plan review, and plan and report preparation.
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, such as PondPack, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HY-8, and Watershed Modeling System.
- Experience with plan production using AutoCAD and MicroStation, with a strong preference for design experience (3D modeling).
- Experience with PennDOT, PA Turnpike, DelDOT, MDSHA, VDOT, and/or DCDOT is a plus.
- Effective written and oral communication skills for project reports, specifications, studies, and other engineering documents.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment.
Required Computer Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, PondPack, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, HY-8, Watershed Modeling System, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary Range: $85k to $135k (negotiable)
