In this position, your responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and developing web handling control systems, including electrical controls and control panels
  • Programming PLCs, HMIs, and drives
  • Supervising the construction of control panels
  • Acting as project manager for assigned projects
  • Commissioning control systems at client sites
  • Ensuring project costs and timelines are met
  • Creating accurate electrical schematics
  • Providing support to customers when necessary
  • Presenting information to stakeholders at varying levels
  • Participating in budgeting and cost estimation
  • Contributing to cutting-edge technology advancements in robotic programming and factory automation
  • Occasional travel for a period of four to six weeks per year
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering
  • Have at least two years of experience in controls engineering using Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin
  • Possess a minimum of two years of HMI experience
  • Demonstrate a solid background in web handling
  • Available for domestic travel for approximately four to six weeks annually
  • Have a consistent work history
  • Be a US citizen or hold a valid Green Card
  • Reside within a 45-minute commuting distance from Appleton, WI
