This thriving manufacturer of industrial controls and instrumentation is currently looking to hire a full-time Web Handling Siemens or Parker-Hannifin Electrical Controls Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Designing and developing electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems.
- Programming PLCs, HMIs, and drives.
- Supervising the construction of control panels.
- Acting as the project manager for assigned projects.
- Commissioning control systems at client sites.
- Ensuring project costs and timelines are met.
- Creating electrical schematics.
- Interacting with customers as required.
- Presenting to various levels of management.
- Participating in budgeting activities.
- Working with cutting-edge technology, including robotic programming and factory automation.
- Traveling four to six weeks per year.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering.
- A minimum of two years of experience in controls engineering using Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin systems.
- At least two years of experience with HMI systems.
- Two years of experience with web handling systems.
- The ability to travel domestically for four to six weeks annually.
- A stable work history with a proven track record of success.
- Must be a US citizen or possess a Green Card.
- Residence within a 45-minute commute to the Appleton, WI area.
