This well-established industrial controls and instrumentation manufacturer is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Controls Engineer specialized in Web Handling, with experience in Siemens or Parker-Hannifin systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Designing and developing electrical controls and control panels for web handling control systems
  • Programming PLCs, HMIs, and drives
  • Supervising the construction of control panels
  • Acting as the project manager throughout the project
  • Commissioning control systems at client sites
  • Meeting project costs and deadlines
  • Creating electrical schematics
  • Collaborating with customers as required
  • Delivering presentations to various stakeholders
  • Participating in budgeting activities
  • Contributing to cutting-edge technology advancements such as robotic programming and factory automation
  • Traveling domestically for four to six weeks per year
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Controls Engineering
  • At least two years of practical experience in controls engineering with Allen Bradley, Siemens, or Parker-Hannifin systems
  • Minimum of two years of experience with HMI systems
  • Two years of web handling experience
  • Willingness to travel domestically for four to six weeks annually
  • A stable and commendable work history
  • Must be a US citizen or hold a valid Green Card
  • Reside within a 45-minute commute of Appleton
