Wisconsin Licensed HVAC Systems Engineer

  • Applicant must hold either a Wisconsin Professional Engineer (PE) license or a Wisconsin Designer of Engineering Systems (DE) license and have a minimum of four years of experience in HVAC engineering design for large commercial buildings
  • Salary is negotiable, up to $150,000, depending on level of experience
  • Applicants must be either a United States citizen or a Green Card holder
  • This is an in-office position, remote work is not available
  • This is a full-time, permanent position
  • Employment will be on a permanent W-2 basis with full benefits
  • No relocation assistance is offered
  • Located northeast of Madison, Wisconsin
This is an exciting opportunity for a Wisconsin PE or DE Licensed HVAC Systems Engineer to join a growing commercial HVAC system design, build, and service company. The company has a strong reputation for its design and build projects and is expanding its workforce to meet the increasing demand. The work schedule offers flexibility, although engineers can anticipate working 50 hours per week. This role provides the opportunity to witness the manufacturing process and see the completion of projects they have designed. As the position progresses, there is potential for growth into a division management position within four to five years. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Developing designs for large-scale commercial HVAC systems using Revit or CAD
  • Overseeing HVAC projects from inception to completion
  • Calculating building load
  • Creating installation plans
  • Selecting appropriate HVAC equipment
  • Determining sizing requirements
  • Managing permit processes
  • Collaborating with a diverse range of individuals

The ideal candidate will possess the following background:

  • Hold a Wisconsin Professional Engineer license or a Wisconsin Designer of Engineering Systems license
  • Have a minimum of four years' experience in large commercial building HVAC engineering design
  • Display a genuine passion for engineering
  • Possess a strong and consistent work history
  • Be a US citizen or hold a Green Card
  • Reside within a 45-minute commute of the office location
