Job Description
An established Wholesale Manufacturer in New York City is seeking a talented individual to join their design team, specializing in women's apparel. This role will primarily focus on designing soft woven garments with a unique touch, such as linen/cotton blends, embellishments, embroidery, cut outs, and more. The products created will primarily cater to off-price customers.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing women's apparel, with a strong emphasis on creative and innovative soft wovens: linen/cotton blends, embellishments, embroidery, cut outs, and more.
- Proficiency in sketching and ability to utilize design software, particularly Illustrator.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team, engaging with various departments such as sales, production, and tech.
- Availability to work in-office five days a week.
- Keen attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
