We are currently seeking experienced Senior and Associate Attorneys specializing in Workers’ Compensation law. This remote position requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in workers' comp, either on the plaintiff or defense side. Salary will be based on experience.

Applicants must be residents of California and possess a CA Bar license.

As an Attorney in our firm, you will be responsible for managing the defense of workers' compensation cases from start to finish, including all aspects of discovery and litigation. You will work closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate on behalf of insurance carriers, 3rd party administrators, and self-insured employers
• Prepare and manage correspondence with clients
• Draft legal pleadings and negotiate settlements on workers' compensation cases
• Attend court appearances, manage calendar, and conduct depositions and cross-examinations of medical experts
• Negotiate lien claims and proactively manage cases
• Supervise and provide guidance to legal assistants for effective case support
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and vendors
• Participate in marketing events to attract and retain clients
• Review and work on case files, input case information into PracticeMaster and billing software
• Adhere to deadlines for client correspondence and attend client file reviews
• Conduct training seminars for clients on current workers' compensation case law
• Stay updated on the latest developments in workers' compensation case law
