CNC Milling Machinist (Second Shift)

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience
• Hands-on experience with 4- and 5-axis CNC milling (HMC preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, including editing and troubleshooting G & M code
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Experience working in a high-mix, low-volume production environment

We’re partnering with a leading manufacturer in Grove City, OH to hire experienced CNC Milling Machinists for a second shift opportunity. This is a high-impact role in a precision-driven environment, ideal for machinists who take pride in producing complex parts to tight tolerances while working with advanced multi-axis equipment.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM
(Training on 1st shift for up to one month required)

What You’ll Do:

• Operate 4- and 5-axis CNC Horizontal Machining Centers, including automated systems
• Interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T, and customer specifications for short-run and one-off jobs
• Set up machines, load materials, change tooling, and make necessary offsets
• Perform in-process adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts using precision tools and verify results with CMM reports
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and offset issues to ensure consistent quality
• Complete inspection and production documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with 5S standards
• Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce setup time, scrap, and cycle time
• Recommend improvements in tooling, fixturing, and machining processes
