CNC Milling Machinist (Weekends)

Must-Haves:

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience
• Proven experience with 4- and 5-axis CNC milling (HMC preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls, including editing and troubleshooting G & M code
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM)
• Experience in a high-mix, low-volume production environment

We’re partnered with a top-tier manufacturer in Grove City, OH to hire skilled CNC Milling Machinists for a weekend shift role. This position is ideal for machinists who thrive in a precision-driven environment and are experienced in producing complex, tight-tolerance parts using advanced multi-axis equipment.

Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
(Training on 1st shift for up to one month required)

What You’ll Do:

• Operate 4- and 5-axis CNC Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs), including automated systems
• Interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T, and customer specifications for short-run and one-off jobs
• Set up machines, load materials, change tooling, and adjust offsets for optimal performance
• Perform in-process adjustments (tool wear, work offsets, minor corrections)
• Inspect finished parts using precision tools and validate with CMM reports
• Troubleshoot machining issues, tooling concerns, and offsets to maintain quality and uptime
• Accurately complete inspection and production documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment aligned with 5S standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, setup time, and cycle time
• Recommend enhancements to tooling, fixturing, and machining strategies
• Monitor production and address issues in real time
