Target Salary: $95K – $115K + up to 8% annual bonus
Position Overview
This Electrical Maintenance Engineer will support maintenance operations on the Furnace End of the plant while also leading and contributing to electrical projects across the facility.
What We’re Looking For
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Required)
- Must be able to program PLCs (Required)
- 2–6+ years of experience in heavy manufacturing (Required)
- Experience with process control systems and automation
- Proficient with VFDs and instrumentation

Your Role with the Company
As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will provide engineering support within the Maintenance department to ensure optimal performance and reliability of plant equipment. You will help meet production requirements, safety goals, quality standards, and company policies.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide electrical engineering support for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of production equipment and facilities
- Lead and manage projects from concept through startup involving process control systems, PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation
- Partner with production teams, maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors to define requirements, resolve issues, and improve uptime and yield
- Prepare cost estimates and authorization requests, manage budgets, and ensure efficient use of external services
- Promote safety and quality through proactive systems and a “do it right the first time” mindset
- Coordinate engineering and maintenance schedules and ensure availability of critical parts through storeroom and purchasing collaboration
