Position Overview

We are seeking a high-level Refrigeration Technician to lead the maintenance, commissioning, and technical oversight of our commercial rental fleet. This is not a standard automotive AC role; we are looking for a specialist capable of managing industrial-scale cooling solutions, including trailer-mounted chillers and large walk-in units.

This role blends hands-on technical mastery with a leadership mindset. You will coordinate with service vendors, prioritize high-stakes repair work, and ensure our industrial fleet meets the rigorous demands of our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

Industrial System Maintenance

  • Perform full-scale commissioning and pre-testing on industrial refrigeration units and chillers.

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex systems from Daikin, Thermo King, Carrier, and Trane.

  • Diagnose sophisticated mechanical and electrical failures using precision gauges and diagnostic software.

  • Interpret detailed schematics to ensure all repairs meet industrial safety and performance standards.

Vendor & Project Coordination

  • Manage and prioritize repair schedules for third-party service vendors and internal teams.

  • Provide technical "subject matter expertise" and training to vendors to ensure brand-standard quality.

  • Identify and document warrantable repairs, ensuring all technical findings are captured accurately.

Operational Safety

  • Maintain a "Safety First" environment, ensuring all tools, precision instruments, and workspaces are organized and compliant.

  • Support large-scale preventative maintenance initiatives to minimize downtime for our rental partners.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, climb, and work at heights in various weather conditions.

  • Frequent lifting of 50 lbs (up to 100 lbs occasionally).

  • Comfort working in non-climate-controlled industrial environments.
