Physician - Interventional Cardiologist

Moultrie, GA | On-Site | Full-Time, Direct Hire | $280,000 to $480,000/year

A 155-bed community-based teaching hospital in Moultrie, Georgia is hiring an Interventional Cardiologist to join its cardiology team. The team includes board-certified cardiologists and nurse practitioners. The role splits time evenly between clinic and cath lab, with no STEMI call and no structural cases.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Call rotation of 7 days per month, limited to medical and therapeutic cardiology (no STEMI call).

Compensation: $280,000 to $480,000 guaranteed base salary, with 3% annual cost-of-living adjustment, plus the opportunity to earn 100% of practice profits as bonus.

What You'll Do

Provide interventional cardiology services in both clinic and cath lab settings. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including PCI, cardiac catheterization, and pacemaker insertion. Split time evenly between clinic and cath lab on a Monday through Friday schedule. Participate in a 7-day-per-month call rotation focused on medical and therapeutic cardiology (no STEMI call, no structural cases). Precept medical students and residents as part of the academic teaching mission.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Completion or near-completion of an Interventional Cardiology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Active Georgia medical license, or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
• Current DEA registration (or eligibility to obtain)
• ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
• Prior experience in a community-based teaching hospital setting
• Experience teaching residents or medical students
