HR Manager
Job description:
1. Full-spectrum of HR
- Oversee everything related to people management in company.
- This includes recruitment, payroll, benefits, employee relations, training and development, and performance management.
2. Teamwork with leaders
- Collaborate with Management and other department heads to assess current and future HR needs.
3. Talent recruitment
- Lead hiring efforts to meet the companys HR needs with the right mix of skills and backgrounds to help the company grow.
4. Engagement and retention
- Develop and oversee implementation of HR activities for employee engagement and talent retention.
5. Policy making
- Create and update internal HR policies and procedures to match the prevailing laws in Malaysia and industry norms/ practices.
6. Leading the HR team
- Provide guidance to the HR team, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism and continuous learning.
7. Reporting structure
- Reports directly to head of Malaysia operations (Vice President), with a dotted line toGroup Chief Financial Officer.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/ Degree holder in Business Management, HR Management or related field
- At least 5 years of working experience in HR, preferably in Manufacturing industry
- English Professional in speaking and writing
- Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia At least able to converse in basic form
- Centralized workers accommodation and the related regulations & practices in Malaysia
- Recruitment and retention of domestic workers for blue collar position
- Global HR generalist/ support function
- Code of Conduct of the Responsible Business Alliance
- Proactive, able to assimilate in the companys performance-based culture
- Ability to influence and interact effectively with all levels of employees and cross-functionally
- Strong floor presence with the ability to understand the pulse of employee morale
- Courage to deliver difficult messages with professionalism and poise
