Endocrinologist

This multidisciplinary outpatient healthcare organization serves diverse and medically underserved communities across the greater Los Angeles area through multiple outpatient clinic locations. The organization is seeking a full-time Endocrinologist to provide specialty care to patients managing complex metabolic, thyroid, and endocrine disorders. The position operates within an integrated care team that includes primary care physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health clinicians, and case managers. This is an outpatient-only role with no hospital call obligations.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Compensation: $310,000 to $340,000 per year

What You'll Do

As the Endocrinologist, you will provide comprehensive diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services to adult patients presenting with endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal disorders. You will design, implement, and monitor clinical management plans for complex diabetes care, incorporating continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pump therapy where clinically appropriate.

You will serve as the subject matter expert and specialist consultant for the primary care team, supporting a coordinated continuum of care across disciplines. You will maintain accurate and timely patient documentation within the organization's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and participate in internal quality improvement initiatives, diabetes education programs, and population health strategies focused on chronic disease outcomes in the communities served.

Patient education is a core component of the role. You will counsel patients and their support networks on long-term treatment protocols, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies for ongoing endocrine conditions.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of or current enrollment in an accredited Endocrinology fellowship program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
• Active, unrestricted California medical license or immediate eligibility to obtain one
• Valid DEA registration
• Commitment to providing equitable, high-quality care to culturally diverse and underserved patient populations
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills appropriate for a multidisciplinary outpatient setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior outpatient endocrinology experience in a community health or federally qualified health center (FQHC) setting
• Experience with CGM platforms and insulin pump management in a high-volume clinic environment
• Familiarity with population health strategies and chronic disease management programs
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency aligned with the patient populations served in the greater Los Angeles area
• Interest in clinical leadership or program development within a growing specialty care organization

Compensation and Benefits
