This is a full time, on site opportunity with a U.S. manufacturing subsidiary of an international company generating more than $60 million in annual revenue. The Director of Human Resources will lead the HR function for the site, partnering directly with the President on strategic workforce planning while managing a team of four.

Compensation
$170,000 to $215,000 base salary, plus a 25% annual bonus target based on individual and company performance.

What You'll Do

The Director of Human Resources will oversee all aspects of the HR function for a manufacturing site with a four person HR team. This includes managing employee relations and labor relations, including union negotiations, and overseeing benefits and compensation programs. The Director will design and manage performance management programs, partner directly with the President on HR strategy and workforce planning, oversee the HRIS system, and manage the HR department budget. This is a hands on leadership role requiring both strategic planning and day to day operational oversight of the HR function.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Direct experience with labor relations and union contract negotiations
  • Proven supervisory experience managing an HR team
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading organizational growth plans
  • Experience managing HRIS systems and HR budgeting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multi-state HR experience
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (please confirm with client whether this is required or preferred)
