This is a full time, on site or field-based leadership opportunity with a publicly traded technology company specializing in electro-mechanical automation, advanced logistics infrastructure, and intelligent hardware solutions for the construction industry. The Director of Service and Customer Operations will lead and scale the company's multi-territory U.S. service organization, managing a major profit center with full P&L accountability.

Compensation
$100,000 to $150,000 base salary annually.
What You'll Do
The Director of Service and Customer Operations will direct and scale U.S. service operations across multiple regional territories, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and system performance standards. This role includes recruiting, mentoring, and managing a distributed team of field service managers, supervisors, and field engineers. The Director will hold full P&L accountability for the U.S. service profit center, managing budgets, cost controls, service contract cycles, pricing strategy, and renewal rates. As the primary senior escalation point for key corporate accounts, the Director will manage contractual milestones, technical updates, and conflict resolution with clients. The role also involves driving system uptime and customer satisfaction through KPI management, preventative maintenance programs, and emergency response planning.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive operational leadership experience in technical field service management, industrial operations, or complex customer support infrastructure
- Experience overseeing complex technical environments such as industrial automation, electromechanical systems, material handling, logistics systems, or industrial robotics
- Demonstrated success directing multi-regional, distributed field engineering teams
- Experience managing multi-million dollar P&L responsibility, vendor negotiations, and service agreements
- Experience managing high-value B2B commercial accounts and contracts
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related technical field
