Civil / Geotechnical Engineer – Geotech & Construction Materials Testing
Looking to launch your geotechnical engineering career? We’re recruiting on purpose a Civil / Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing Geotechnical and CMT teams in Atlanta. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Civil Engineer who enjoys a mix of field work and office-based engineering.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with geotechnical investigations, soil borings, and site explorations
- Perform construction materials testing (soil, concrete, and asphalt)
- Review field and lab data with guidance from senior engineers
- Help prepare geotechnical reports and engineering recommendations
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients
- Spend approximately 80% of your time in the field and 20% in the office
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification (or actively pursuing it)
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites
- Geotechnical or construction materials testing internship/experience is a plus
