Job Summary:

We are in search of a motivated and strategic Financial Manager to establish and lead the finance function within the organization. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing the financial infrastructure while providing financial guidance and analysis to colleagues and investment partners. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial reporting, controls, and compliance, as well as budgeting and collaborating with other leaders on business performance metrics.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing HRIS systems and preparing tax returns and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and Lead Finance Function: Take charge of all accounting operations and contribute to the development and maintenance of the P&L.
  • Financial Operations: Manage financial reporting, payroll, and accounts payable and receivable.
  • Cash Management: Ensure effective cash management to support business growth.
  • Collaborate with Leadership: Develop business intelligence capabilities to achieve key performance indicators, resolve business issues, and drive performance improvement.
  • Provide Decision Support: Utilize financial insights to assist company leaders in making informed decisions.
  • Handle Information Requests: Deliver organized and fact-based responses to key observations, assumptions, and conclusions.
  • Finance and HRIS Systems: Set up and oversee the company's Finance and HR Information Systems.

  • Strong Accounting Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting principles and best practices.

  • Experience as a Player/Coach: Ability to balance individual contribution and leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in Treasury Management: Skilled in cash management functions.
  • Support for New Business Models: Experience in supporting innovative business models.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills with a stakeholder mentality.
  • Proven Team Building: Track record of building high-performing teams and driving accountability and performance.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and implement detailed, results-oriented plans while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Professional Integrity: Exhibits integrity, maturity, strength of character, and professionalism.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces change.
  • Educational Background: BSc/BA in accounting or a relevant field; CPA is a plus but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a related role.
