The Finance Team collaborates with all departments within our organization to ensure adherence to internal and external standards. This role involves managing a team of 3 individuals and overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Additionally, the Financial Manager will support the CFO in preparing and delivering accurate and timely financial information to various departments.
Your skills and experience will contribute to:
· Performing, reviewing, analyzing, and reconciling general ledger and subsystem postings, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments as necessary for monthly closing.
· Maintaining accurate records for general, bank, intercompany, and fixed assets accounts up to the balance sheet, including comprehensive justification of balance sheet accounts.
· Uploading data to the financial reporting system of our parent company and providing necessary commentary.
· Managing the costing system for inventory valuation and margin calculations.
· Addressing inquiries related to sales and production.
· Assisting external auditors with their requests.
A minimum of 5-8 years of general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment and a B.B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance are required. Familiarity with IFRS is a plus. Knowledge of manufacturing planning systems (such as BPCS or ERP) would be advantageous, but experience with Infor M3 is not necessary. Proficiency in Excel and other Office 365 programs is essential.
