Job Opportunity in Lawrence, KS: HR Director position available! This is a full-time role, with the expectation to work in-person. Responsibilities:

• Drive the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives to facilitate recruitment, staffing, performance management, training, compensation, and benefits.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align HR strategies with organizational objectives and drive employee development programs.
• Oversee employee relations to foster a positive workplace culture and address concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Manage HR-related software systems to maintain accurate record-keeping.
• Provide coaching and support to management teams on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution and performance improvement plans.
• Administer employee benefits programs, such as health, dental, vision, and life insurance, and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure competitive offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 5+ years of experience in HR management, including leading teams.
• Preferred HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong leadership and team management skills required.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism and integrity.
