Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5–15 years of account management experience within the footwear or apparel industry
  • Proven success selling into mid-tier, sporting goods, and off-price retail channels (e.g., Kohl’s, Shoe Carnival, Academy Sports, DICK’S Sporting Goods, etc.)
  • Experience with outdoor and/or performance footwear brands
  • Strong ability to manage key retail accounts and drive revenue growth
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business tools
  • Willingness to work onsite 5 days per week in New York City

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key retail accounts across mid-tier, sporting goods, and off-price channels
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
  • Serve as the primary liaison between retailers, brands, and internal teams
  • Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure alignment on product and delivery
  • Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Maintain strong relationships with buyers and key stakeholders
  • Manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and timely execution
