Due to expansion in their finishing division, they are actively hiring a Paint Team Lead to direct floor operations. You will work with top-of-the-line spray booth equipment in a respectful, team-oriented culture that heavily prioritizes employee retention, career stability, and pride in craftsmanship.

What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)

  • Surface Preparation & Tooling: Utilize pneumatic tools, sanders, and prep equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for defect-free coating adhesion.
  • Maintain Strict Quality Standards: Continuously use a physical tape measure to verify component dimensions and film specs against engineering drawings.
  • Provide Department Leadership (Lead Role): Assign daily shop tasks to the surface prep and painting crew while collaborating closely with plant management.
  • Train & Mentor Technicians (Lead Role): Cross-train team members on spray techniques, fluid regulator calibration, gun maintenance, and departmental safety protocols.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)

  • Team Lead Track: 2+ years of verifiable experience as a Lead Painter, Shop Foreman, or Finishing Supervisor in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Measurement Mastery: Proven ability to read a physical tape measure down to minor fractions instantly and spot surface coating defects.
  • Work Ethic & Longevity: A stable employment history that demonstrates daily reliability, team accountability, and a commitment to quality.
  • Local Commute: US Citizen or Green Card holder residing within a comfortable daily driving distance (~45 minutes) of the Richfield, WI area.
