Your Role
Youll work closely with the Chief of Surgery, as well as Vascular and Oncology Surgeonsserving as a First Assist in the OR while also supporting patients before and after surgery in the clinical setting.
What Youll Do
- Act as First Assist in the operating room
- Support pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-up care
- Participate in clinic responsibilities and patient management
- Assist with inpatient rounding as needed
- Coordinate communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure seamless continuity of care
What You Bring
- Current New York State Physician Assistant license
- National Certification (NCCPA)
- Valid DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Confidence working in both surgical and clinical environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $125,000 $135,000
