Must-Haves

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $290,000 – $320,000
- Total compensation potential: $314,000 – $464,000+ with productivity bonuses

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Physician Infectious Disease specialist to join a growing outpatient healthcare center and wellness clinic in the Greater Jacksonville, FL area. This role offers an excellent opportunity to practice in a mission-driven, patient-focused environment with strong clinical support and outstanding earning potential.
The ideal candidate will have experience in infectious disease management, outpatient primary care, and HIV-related care while delivering high-quality treatment for both chronic and acute medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care for infectious disease and primary care patients
- Diagnose and treat conditions including HIV, STIs, infections, respiratory illnesses, diabetes, hypertension, COPD, asthma, hyperlipidemia, and other chronic diseases
- Manage a patient volume of approximately 14–18 patients per day
- Complete patient documentation and E&M coding within established timelines
- Review laboratory results, imaging, and specialist reports promptly
- Process prescription refills and patient follow-up requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with nursing staff, care coordinators, and front office teams to support patient care and retention
- Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as required
- Participate in after-hours on-call coverage as assigned
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and quality initiatives
- Support patient engagement and continuity of care efforts
Qualifications
- MD or DO required
- Active Florida medical license required
- Valid DEA registration required
- Board certification preferred
- 2+ years of Infectious Disease Physician experience required
- Outpatient primary care experience required
- AAHIVM Certification required within 18 months of hire
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment
