Receptionist
Location: Lancaster, SC
- Ensure the reception area is opened and closed by performing tasks such as locking doors, turning off lights, television, and computers
- Promptly answer incoming calls in a professional manner and redirect them to the appropriate individuals within 2-3 rings
- Take and deliver messages to various employees as requested
- Support the administrative team by setting up offices and cubicles for new hires with necessary supplies
- Provide callers with relevant information about the company, including address, directions, fax numbers, website, and more
- Manage the visitor logging system for the company
- Maintain and update the visitor calendar on a daily basis
- Welcome and guide visitors and guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist with processing applications in the recruiting log and send out thank you cards
- Perform various clerical duties for different departments, such as generating labels, handling mailings, and organizing samples
- Support Human Resources with tasks including interviews, applications, and employee inquiries
- Arrange meetings for employees and managers, providing necessary refreshments
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with other departments in a team-oriented environment
- Distribute the weekly visitors log to executive management
- Create new hire packets on a bi-weekly basis
- Ensure monthly birthday cards are distributed to employees
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience as a receptionist or in front office administration
