Senior Job Captain – Architecture (Healthcare)

Senior Project Manager Healthcare-inpatient and ambulatory care interiors
New York, NY OR Melville, NY
Our client is a leading architecture firm based out of NYC. They currently have an immediate need for an experienced Senior Job Captain for either their New York City office or Melville, NY location to handle production of construction documents and collaborate with consultants for their Healthcare in-patient and ambulatory care Interiors practice. Candidates should bring a minimum of 10 years of continuous experience within the healthcare vertical.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in DOB and DOH code review, and building analysis
- Proficient in computer assisted design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam
- Interface with the clients and consultants
- Lead the production of the architectural set of drawings from schematic design through
- construction documents
- Coordination of architectural documents with other consultants
- Review and markup architectural documents
- Respond to RFIs during the GC Bidding phase
- Review and process of shop drawings and submittals during construction administration
- Respond to RFIs during construction
- Attend construction administration meetings and write field reports
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of continuous project documentation experience in ambulatory care and inpatient projects
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficient in computer assisted design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
- A strong understanding and experience with NYC and NYS Building Codes, ADA compliance, NFPA 2012 for Healthcare, FGI 2018 Guidelines, filing strategies, and base building infrastructure
The projected annual salary range for this position is $90K to $130K
Position Location: New York, NY or Melville NY(Hybrid)
