Senior Litigation Executive | Case Manager – Plaintiff Advocacy & Real Estate Contracts

§ Salary: $85,000 to $110,000 Base Salary (Supplemented by discretionary year-end performance bonuses, merit-based compensation evaluations, and an all-inclusive benefits package encompassing medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, a 401(k) retirement plan, and generous paid leave)
§ Schedule: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Full On-site Presence (Five days per week)

§ Duties: The selected professional will assume comprehensive stewardship of a high-volume litigation docket, serving as a primary operational anchor for attorneys managing complex personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and sophisticated civil disputes. This role demands meticulous organization and a proactive approach to hands-on case management during pre-litigation, active discovery, and trial phases. Daily operational objectives include:
⨖ Overseeing the lifecycle of complex litigation files, ensuring methodical organization, and propelling matters toward adjudication or structured settlement.
⨖ Drafting, assessing, and finalizing procedural pleadings, substantive motions, comprehensive discovery requests, and formal legal correspondence.
⨖ Orchestrating the discovery process, including the systemic collection, categorization, and review of evidentiary documentation while strictly monitoring statutory timelines.
⨖ Procuring, auditing, and transcribing medical records, itemized billing statements, and financial loss documentation to facilitate damages assessments.
⨖ Compiling persuasive settlement prospectuses, comprehensive trial binders, evidentiary exhibits, and strategic hearing materials.
⨖ Maintaining direct, professional communication channels with high-profile clients, expert witnesses, insurance underwriters, and opposing counsel.
⨖ Executing precise electronic filings across state and federal judiciaries, specifically traversing the Connecticut and New York court systems.
⨖ Collaborating with trial counsel to formulate case strategies, evidentiary organization schemes, and comprehensive courtroom preparations.
⨖ Providing ancillary transactional support for residential real estate matters, including the review of purchase and sale agreements and coordination of title abstracts.
§ Qualifications: To ensure immediate integration into this sophisticated practice, candidates must satisfy the following baseline parameters:
⨖ Minimum of five years of substantive litigation paralegal experience within a reputable law firm setting.
⨖ Formal paralegal certification, an associate degree, or a baccalaureate degree in paralegal studies or a closely aligned discipline.
⨖ Verifiable experience reviewing, adjusting, or handling residential real estate contracts and related transactional components.
⨖ Thorough operational familiarity with the procedural rules and electronic filing interfaces of both Connecticut and New York state and federal courts.
