Traveling Retail Construction Superintendent
Atlanta, GA (Travel Throughout Southeast Required)

MUST HAVES

• Minimum 7+ years of construction site management experience

• Proven experience with ground-up commercial or industrial projects

• Willingness to travel extensively across the Southeast

• Strong ability to manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractors

• Experience with tilt-wall/tilt-up, warehouse, distribution, or large retail projects

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

ABOUT THE ROLE

A well-established Atlanta-based commercial general contractor is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee projects from start through closeout across the Southeast. This role is critical in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

You will act as the on-site leader and company representative, ensuring each project reflects excellence and builds long-term client trust.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead on-site construction operations from project start to completion

• Coordinate with project teams, office staff, and subcontractors

• Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards

• Maintain a strong safety culture on-site

• Provide regular updates and reports to leadership

• Build and maintain positive client relationships

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

• Strong leadership with the ability to manage remote job sites independently

• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Salary: $100K–$120K

• Annual bonus / profit sharing
