Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)

• Proven experience in accounting, billing, accounts payable/receivable

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems

• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organization

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Experience with NetSuite (highly preferred)

Overview

A growing Cleveland-based company is seeking a Senior Accountant/Assistant Controller to join its collaborative team. This is a hands-on role with strong visibility, offering the opportunity to support core accounting functions while working closely with leadership. Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoices and client billing

• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies

• Track expenses and enter financial transactions and adjustments

• Prepare and process payments to vendors and employees

• Monitor cash flow, including receipts, deposits, and bank balances

• Perform reconciliations, including corporate credit cards

• Prepare and file 1099 forms

• Assist with month-end activities and reporting as needed

• Provide administrative support and assist the Controller with financial tasks
