Manager, Process Control & Electrical Engineering
Location: Cleveland, OH
Compensation: $125,000 – $140,000 (Onsite)
Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering and process control in an industrial environment
- Strong expertise in industrial power distribution systems
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMI systems
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex control systems and electrical issues
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing or mentoring engineering teams
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Process Control & Electrical Engineering to lead and support plant operations through process reliability, system optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends technical expertise with team development and project execution.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this onsite position plays a key role in ensuring efficient, safe, and reliable production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 2–4 process control and electrical engineering professionals
- Oversee external drafting and design resources to support engineering initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards, with an emphasis on electrical safety
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Serve as the technical lead for troubleshooting complex process control systems and power distribution challenges
- Manage capital and continuous improvement projects from concept through execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to meet production goals
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Foxboro process control systems
