MUST-HAVES
Required Education:
- Certificate or AAS Degree in Electronics or related discipline
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer
- Strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting background
- Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation strongly preferred
- Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry preferred
Requirements:
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Must reside within reasonable commute of greater Nashville, TN area (no relocation assistance)
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (this position is not eligible for sponsorship)
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be the trusted technical expert ensuring that laboratories can deliver timely, accurate diagnostic results. Service and maintain sophisticated automated robotic lab instrumentation, including hematology, chemistry, and coagulation analyzers, across the greater Nashville, TN area.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on medical laboratory analyzers and automated robotic instrumentation
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using your electronics and electro-mechanical expertise
- Build strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional on-site support
- Provide hands-on operational training to laboratory staff on instrumentation
- Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group
- Manage vehicle inventory including tools and parts to ensure rapid response capability
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Total Compensation: $69K to $95K+
- Base Salary: $65K to $85K (based on experience)
- Overtime & Performance Bonus: Additional $4K to $10K+ annually
