Outside Sales Representative
Job description:
Outside Sales Representative
Compensation: $60,000 – $90,000 per year (depending on experience) +
uncapped commission and ongoing bonuses. Location: Hybrid remote in
Yonkers, NY with up to 75% travel throughout the tri-state area (NY, NJ,
CT). Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
– Dedicate 85%-90% of your time to generating new business through
cold calls, site visits, and prospecting.
– Dedicate 10%-15% of your time to servicing existing customers
alongside the Inside Sales Rep.
– Network with developers, project managers, and industry
decision-makers.
– Attend meetings, trade shows, and industry events to hit sales
metrics.
Qualifications:
Core Requirements
– 3-5 years of aggressive inside or outside sales experience.
– 3 years of required cold calling experience.
– Proficiency in CRM software and high-level technical skills in
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
– Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
– Preferred: 1-3 years of Building Materials/Supply experience and
knowledge of regional contractors.
