Up to $125,000 Base Salary • Green Bay, WI Area • 100% On-Site • Flexible 1st Shift
- SOFTWARE: Strong AutoCAD Electrical proficiency required (Autodesk Inventor & Vault preferred)
- EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of electrical design experience OR an Associate/Technical degree with 6+ months of hands-on design
- PROJECT FOCUS: Designing custom electrical schematics and physical industrial control panel layouts
- SCHEDULE: Flexible core hours (start times between 6:00 AM – 7:30 AM) | 40–45 hours per week | No travel
- LOCATION: 100% On-Site at a state-of-the-art facility in the Green Bay area (No remote work)

Due to a long-term team member transitioning into a new career path, they are adding a dedicated designer to work directly alongside their engineering and assembly teams. Because all fabrication is handled right down the hall in their own modern, specialized industrial panel shop, you get to watch your custom designs go from a digital screen to a physical build with absolutely zero field travel required.
What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
- Design detailed electrical schematics and control panel layouts tailored to custom, high-complexity industrial automation projects.
- Generate comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) and select specialized electrical hardware, breakers, relays, and terminal blocks to support production.
- Collaborate closely with automation engineers from initial concept design to final project sign-off, ensuring all client technical requirements are met.
- Draft schematics for advanced integration initiatives, including web handling systems, multi-axis coordinated servo motion, and robotics projects.
- Partner with the assembly technicians on the shop floor throughout the panel build process to review drawings, troubleshoot design changes, and verify hardware efficiency.
- Maintain digital design standards and manage engineering assets within version control environments.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
- 2+ years of dedicated electrical layout experience, OR an Associate/Technical degree in Electrical Design/Electro-Mechanical technology paired with at least 6 months of hands-on drafting experience.
- Strong AutoCAD Electrical mastery, as this is the primary software platform used daily for schematic architecture.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor and Vault asset management software is highly preferred to ensure a fast transition.
- Proven ability to interpret technical schematics and conceptualize physical control panel layouts from raw engineering specifications.
- Excellent team communication skills and a collaborative mindset to interface smoothly between engineering and the fabrication floor.
