This role leads day to day clinical, operational, and fiscal management of the Cath Lab department for a healthcare system's cardiovascular services division in Great Falls, MT. The Director will oversee patient care management, resource allocation, and regulatory compliance, working closely with the COO, Cath Lab Medical Director, and cardiovascular leadership team.

Schedule
Full time, on-site.

Compensation
$120,000 to $155,000 per year.

What You'll Do

As Director of Cath Lab, you will direct day to day clinical operations within the department, ensuring strong patient care management, effective resource utilization, and smooth clinical workflows. You will oversee departmental budgeting, fiscal planning, staffing allocations, and equipment maintenance to support operational efficiency. You will ensure departmental adherence to federal and state regulations and accrediting body standards, and under laboratory direction you will oversee patient specimen testing, quality control, and performance improvement initiatives. You will participate in direct procedural care as needed, collaborate with interdisciplinary managers and directors to advance the cardiovascular service line, and lead specialized clinical projects as a subject matter expert across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program, or Associate of Applied Science in Cardiovascular Technology (AAS-CV); an equivalent combination of clinical education and experience may be considered in lieu of a CV specific program
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana, or immediate eligibility to obtain
  • Active national registry as a Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of continuous clinical experience in a Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) setting
  • Deep expertise in cardiovascular laboratory standards, specialized clinical equipment operation, and emergency troubleshooting
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds using proper technique and work within a sterile, temperature-controlled environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical management or departmental leadership experience
