Senior Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer, Revit
Cambridge, MA (Hybrid) | Full-time | $120,000 – $160,000

We’re hiring a senior plumbing and fire protection engineer for an employee-owned (ESOP) architecture and engineering firm that designs the buildings it engineers. You’ll run your own projects and mentor less experienced staff, working on labs, data centers, schools and universities, and offices in and around Boston. This is a hybrid role, three days a week in office.

What You’ll Do

• Own design on your own projects from concept through construction administration
• Design domestic water, sanitary and waste, storm, and gas systems, along with sprinkler and standpipe
• Produce full construction documents in Revit and coordinate them in the model with other disciplines
• Handle code and AHJ review
• Stay on through construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, and site visits
• Mentor and train junior staff
• Work directly with clients

What We’re Looking For

• 8 to 12 years of plumbing and fire protection design at a consulting engineering or A/E firm
• Experience in Revit
• Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in the discipline
