Senior Women's Technical Outerwear Designer, Performance

Pay: $80,000 to $100,000 per year

Design women's performance jackets that work as hard as they look, blending technical engineering, feminine fit, and AI-powered creativity from concept to production.

Must-Haves

• 7+ years of hands-on women's outerwear design experience, with significant exposure to technical, outdoor, and performance apparel
• Deep knowledge of jacket engineering and construction, designing for function as well as appearance
• Strong understanding of women's fit, proportion, fabrication, insulation, and functional components
• Cost engineering experience, hitting target costs without sacrificing quality or performance
• Hands-on AI proficiency using AI tools for design, research, visualization, and product development
• Portfolio required, showing women's outerwear, technical construction, fit, fabrication, and completed products

What You'll Do

• Own the creative direction for assigned women's technical and performance outerwear categories
• Create technical drawings, detailed tech packs, and construction details that communicate design intent
• Select outerwear materials, insulation systems, and functional trims for each product
• Develop silhouettes that balance women's fit with technical performance and commercial appeal
• Turn trend, consumer, and competitive research into new silhouettes, materials, and innovations
• Partner with Production and overseas factories to optimize costing across materials, construction, and trims
• Use AI-powered tools for concept creation, trend analysis, color development, and visualization
• Evaluate emerging AI design technologies to improve the development process
• Collaborate with Merchandising and Production through the full product lifecycle

Compensation and Benefits
