CNC Operator Lead, Fanuc Programming

Location: Bay Shore, NY
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Pay: $70,000 to $90,000 per year

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of CNC operating experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with CNC mills, CNC lathes, stamping presses, and press brakes
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and CAM programming
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T
• Experience with precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers
• CAD software experience, such as SolidWorks
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor CNC operators while keeping safety and production schedules on track
• Oversee setup, calibration, and operation of CNC mills, lathes, and stamping presses
• Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and CAM software from CAD drawings
• Inspect parts to verify blueprint and quality requirements
• Coordinate tooling setups, material handling, and fabrication workflow
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and partner with maintenance on repairs
• Maintain production logs, machine records, and quality reports
• Drive improvements in machining processes, productivity, and quality

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience leading a small machining or manufacturing team
• Familiarity with PLCs, welding, and fabrication processes
• Factory experience with material handling, assembly lines, or logistics
