Buyer, Metals Manufacturing Procure-to-Pay

Be the day-to-day purchasing partner to plant Operations. You'll turn demand into accurate POs, chase suppliers, clear shortages, and keep inventory lean.

Must-Haves

• 2+ years in purchasing, materials, supply chain, or manufacturing customer service
• Associate degree in any major
• Working proficiency in Excel and ERP purchasing
• Analyzes supplier delivery, open orders, inventory, and cost data
• Detail-oriented and able to juggle multiple plant priorities

What You'll Do

• Convert requisitions into accurate, timely POs and track them through receipt and invoice
• Execute contracts and approved supplier lists set by category leadership
• Expedite critical material and resolve shortages before production is hit
• Work with Planning on lead times, safety stock, and excess inventory
• Track supplier delivery and quality, and build top-supplier scorecards
• Flag off-contract pricing and cost-saving opportunities
• Keep supplier, item, pricing, and lead-time data accurate in the ERP

Nice-to-Haves

• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Bachelor's in supply chain, business, or purchasing

What You'll Get

• $65K to $73K plus quarterly bonus
