Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Foster and foster a culture of empathy, trust, and motivation that aligns with the mission of the organization.
• Work together with the board to develop and execute an ambitious strategic plan for growth and impact.
• Create and implement an expansion strategy, identifying new locations, funding opportunities, and scalable operating models.
• Establish comprehensive systems for measuring outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Strengthen and enhance the organization's brand by cultivating strong relationships with community partners, donors, educational institutions, and key stakeholders.

Program Development and Evaluation:

• Lead the advancement of cutting-edge educational programs, ensuring curriculum relevance, alignment with industry standards, and the acquisition of key certifications.
• Develop metrics and evaluation frameworks to monitor program success and long-term impact.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends in computer science education, integrating the latest best practices to deliver exceptional learning experiences.

Fundraising and Development:

• Take the lead in fundraising efforts, securing significant donations from foundations, corporations, individual donors, and government agencies.
• Create and implement comprehensive fundraising campaigns that drive the organization's growth and mission.
• Lead grant writing initiatives, ensuring compliance with all reporting requirements and funding regulations.

Operations Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency, optimal resource utilization, and high-impact delivery.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies and processes approved by the board.
• Develop operational strategies that maximize program outcomes while minimizing costs.
• Manage finance and HR functions, including budget development and workforce planning.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor a talented team of staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative work environment driven by the mission.

Platform Development:

• Utilize artificial intelligence (AI) and large language model (LLM) platforms to pioneer personalized program delivery for K-8 students.
• Integrate technology into the organization's framework to enhance educational outcomes and streamline operations.

Leadership & Experience Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years in a senior leadership position within a non-profit organization, preferably in the field of youth education. Demonstrated success in securing funding from diverse sources and driving organizational growth.
• Fundraising Expertise: Proven experience in individual donor campaigns, major grants, and corporate partnerships.
• STEM Focus: Exposure to curriculum development in STEM or computer science is highly desirable.
• Operational Savvy: Solid background in budget management, grant compliance, and team leadership.
