A civil engineering firm based in Trinity, Florida is hiring a Project Manager to lead land and site development projects across residential, commercial, and municipal markets in the central Florida region. This is a full-time, in-office role reporting to senior engineering leadership, with ownership of projects from design through delivery.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, standard business hours.
Compensation: $110,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will manage the production and delivery of civil engineering projects focused on land and site development. Your project portfolio will span residential subdivisions, commercial developments, and municipal work, with responsibility for coordinating design tasks, managing project timelines, and maintaining quality standards from concept through construction.
On the technical side, you will lead or oversee civil site design work including paving, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility systems for large-scale development projects. You will use AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce and review design deliverables, and apply engineering software such as ICPR and WaterCAD for drainage and hydraulic analysis.
You will also serve as the primary point of contact for project coordination, working with clients, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies to move projects through permitting and approval processes. Managing project schedules, budgets, and deliverable quality will be central to this role.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

5 or more years of civil engineering experience in land and site development

Demonstrated experience with residential and/or commercial site design including grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility systems

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Strong project management and organizational skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

Civil 3D proficiency

Experience with ICPR and WaterCAD

Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida, or ability to obtain licensure

Experience managing municipal site development projects

Familiarity with central Florida permitting and regulatory processes

Experience mentoring junior engineers or coordinating with design teams
