Job Responsibilities:

• Visit client sites to carry out the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machine tool equipment and controls
• Identify opportunities for enhancing the performance of equipment; conduct regular preventive maintenance on customer machine tool equipment
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical and mechanical components
• Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal and vendor resources to research and address machine issues
• Effectively communicate machine issues, installation progress, or machine repair status to clients; ensure accurate documentation is completed and submitted to the office and client
• Take responsibility for addressing client-related problems; collaborate with relevant departments when needed to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
• Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field
• Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of the product lines represented by the company
• Keep updated on vendor products and new technologies, and implement them as necessary
• Provide machine maintenance training as part of after-sales technical support
• Perform any additional assigned duties

Job Requirements:

• Preference for an Associate’s degree in a related field; minimum requirement is a High School Diploma/GED
• At least 5 years of experience as a CNC Field Service Technician or Engineer, with equivalent experience also considered
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with CNC controls, with knowledge of Fanuc systems being highly advantageous
• Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, along with technical aptitude
• Ability to read and comprehend drawings and schematics
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs and other relevant business software
• Must be flexible to work unscheduled overtime with short notice
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and auto/vehicle insurance
• Ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the workweek, with some overnight travel required
• Must have basic hand tools for electrical and mechanical repairs
