CNC Programmer

Job Summary: We are searching for a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. This role requires the development of CNC programs using Esprit Software, as well as the setup of CNC Milling Machines, including both 3-axis and 5-axis machines. The CNC Machinist will primarily handle Mazak and Haas machines, overseeing and managing special projects with a strong focus on maintaining high quality standards. Additionally, the position involves identifying opportunities for process improvement, exploring innovative manufacturing techniques, and ensuring compliance with customer specifications. Effective collaboration within the team is essential for optimizing manufacturing processes in terms of efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

  • Create CNC programs using Esprit Software for CNC Milling Machines, specifically 3-axis and 5-axis machines.
  • Operate primarily Mazak and Haas machines.
  • Supervise and lead special projects, implementing thorough project planning with an emphasis on quality.
  • Identify areas for process enhancement and explore new manufacturing methods to meet customer demands.
  • Collaborate within the team to develop manufacturing processes that optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality.

CNC Machinist Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a preference for candidates with an industrial engineering degree.
  • Proficiency in evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • Familiarity with CAD, CAM, and related software, with experience in SolidWorks considered advantageous.
  • Knowledge of G Code or Mazatrol programming, and experience with Esprit or Mastercam is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
  • Excellent organizational and management abilities.
  • High level of technical expertise in CNC operations.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills.
