Senior Financial Analyst, Real Estate

Ontario, CA |  Full-Time

A real estate development and construction company headquartered in Ontario, California seeks an experienced financial analyst to join its corporate finance team. This role supports financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis across a portfolio of real estate development and construction projects. The position works closely with accounting, project management, and operations leadership.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, on-site in Ontario, California.

Compensation:  $100,000 - $130,000 Per Year

What You'll Do

Your core responsibility is leading and supporting the company's corporate financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles, with an emphasis on producing analysis that informs strategic decisions at the executive level. You will perform variance and profitability analysis across the company's real estate and construction project portfolio, identifying trends and surfacing insights for senior leadership through prepared reports and performance dashboards.

A significant portion of your work will involve building and maintaining detailed financial models for acquisitions, new development projects, and capital investments. You will collaborate with the accounting, project management, and operations teams on a regular basis to ensure financial reporting is accurate and aligned across functions. You will also contribute to strategic planning initiatives and take an active role in improving the team's financial processes, reporting tools, and data integrity practices over time.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 5 or more years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or real estate and construction finance
• Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated financial modeling capability
• Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems
• Strong understanding of real estate development, project costing, and financial performance metrics
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA
• Direct experience with real estate development or construction company finance
• Experience preparing executive-level financial presentations and board-level reporting
• Familiarity with construction project accounting or job cost reporting
• Experience with process improvement initiatives in a finance or FP&A function
