What we're looking for:
•A Bachelor's or PharmD degree is required.
•Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in an acute care/hospital setting.
•Capability to obtain a NV Pharmacist License within 3 months of joining.
Hours and compensation:
•This is a full-time position.
•The salary range is $145K-$175K, depending on experience.
•Our facility provides a comprehensive benefits package and is open to discussing relocation or sign-on bonuses.
About the role:
•As the Director of Pharmacy, you will lead a team of dedicated professionals who strive to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care, creating an exceptional workplace.
•Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing departmental goals, plans, and standards that align with the organization's clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements and objectives.
•You will oversee and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to ensure performance and quality control objectives are met.
•Additionally, you will be responsible for staffing activities such as hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
•You will also play a vital role in budget preparation, monitoring, and evaluation, as well as ensuring compliance with allocated funding. Coordinating and directing internal and external audits will be part of your responsibilities.
•Creating an environment that fosters professional growth, integrating evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols, and assuming the role of the "Managing Pharmacist" until NV licensure is obtained are also essential aspects of this position.
