Electrical Engineer
Responsible for providing corporate engineering leadership, including support for electrical systems, equipment installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance. This role will involve hands-on work with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs, as well as providing assistance to the maintenance team on site.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum of a 2-4 year Electrical Engineering Technology degree
· At least 5 years of experience managing commercial and industrial construction projects
EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience in installing and controlling electrical and mechanical equipment
- Expertise in estimating job costs for electrical installations, including new construction, renovations, and machinery relocation
- Experience working with contractors and utility companies domestically and internationally
- Knowledge of electrical safety regulations, such as NFPA70 and NFPA70E
- Proficiency in PLCs, Operator Interfaces, Variable Frequency Drives, and Allen Bradley programming
- Experience in panel building, industrial electrical maintenance, AUTOCAD Electrical, and automation or robotics
- Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems related to automation
