About the Role
A 198 year old, $1.3 billion multinational manufacturer of agricultural equipment is seeking an Export Sales Support Specialist to educate and support company staff and international distributors on products made in North America. This role reports to the Director of Sales for North America and is based at the company’s North American headquarters in Janesville, Wisconsin, with several hundred team members at this location. Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time is required.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison to the company’s distribution subsidiaries and importers outside North America, coordinating interactions related to product sales performance, trade shows, visits, demonstrations, and product launches
- Ensure designated sales representatives are trained, informed, and supported so they can effectively represent the company’s North American products
- Work to grow international demand for products made in North America
- Manage machine inventory
- Assist in developing products and programs aimed at increasing sales and customer satisfaction
- When not traveling, work from the North American headquarters answering questions, preparing presentations, learning about new product development, and supporting staff outside North America
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, agri-business, marketing, engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of sales or sales support experience, ideally including agricultural or heavy mobile equipment
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time
Compensation and Benefits
- $90,000 to $95,000 per year, plus bonus program
