Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician (Maintenance and Repair)

Job Summary of the Industrial Maintenance Technician:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining the company's facilities and ensuring they are functioning efficiently to support business operations. This role will involve implementing proactive maintenance strategies, performing timely repairs, and keeping all assets in optimal condition.
Qualifications of the Industrial Maintenance Engineer:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Maintenance with a specialization in industrial machine repair.
• Previous experience in machinery maintenance within production environments.
• Proficient in mechanics, plumbing, hydraulics, electrical, and HVAC systems, with the ability to effectively use hand tools, air tools, and overhead hoists.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with great attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety committees, programs, and knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret machinery schematics and construction drawings.
• Capable of undertaking administrative tasks such as reporting and budgeting.
• Experience in planning and executing maintenance operations.
• Knowledgeable about facilities machines and equipment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team player skills.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in tracking expenses, managing budgets, and prioritizing maintenance projects.

• Plan and execute all maintenance activities including equipment PMs, facility repairs, budget management, parts and equipment inventory, and installation tasks.
• Establish preventative maintenance schedules and procedures, work order systems, and routine inspection protocols to identify and address potential issues early on.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and grounds to identify maintenance priorities.
• Analyze complex maintenance problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvement, and implementation of new technologies.
• Regularly inspect electrical and HVAC systems to ensure their proper functioning.
• Monitor equipment inventory and initiate orders for necessary supplies.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors and service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of maintenance services and parts.
• Monitor maintenance expenses, track costs associated with repairs and replacements, and effectively manage department budget.
• Keep detailed maintenance logs and provide daily activity reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, building codes, fire codes, and environmental regulations.
