Maintenance Manager

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a facility that deals with corrugated containers.
  • Candidates must have at least 5-7 years of supervisory experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably within the corrugate sector.

Responsibilities:

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise to the maintenance staff. They will oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of company assets. Additionally, this role will drive continuous improvement projects, support operations, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure efficient production and high-quality output to meet customer needs.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

  • Set an example by leading and monitoring department performance and operational improvements.
  • Oversee the implementation of the company's safety program, following industry best practices to ensure the well-being of all employees.
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive maintenance program, including short-term and long-term strategies, to create an efficient and productive environment.
  • Manage and track team performance measures, such as attendance, output, and scheduling.
  • Take the lead in managing machinery needs, including scheduled shutdowns, project launches, and major equipment repairs.
  • Foster a positive working culture by being a natural team leader with a can-do attitude.
