This role is responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of facility, manufacturing, and support systems and processes throughout the facility.


  • Participate as a member of the management team, working towards the goals of Safety, Quality, and Productivity, in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of manufacturing and support systems across the facility; provide recommendations and implement necessary improvements.
  • Train team members in effective troubleshooting techniques, maintenance, and repair of plant systems.
  • Monitor team members' overall job performance, ensuring adherence to company rules, policies, and professional standards.
  • Guide team members in their professional development and growth.
  • Support, monitor, and expand Preventive/Predictive Maintenance practices for all facility systems and machinery.
  • Utilize the CMMS system, including work orders, purchase orders, inventory control, and equipment history, for job tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and repair control systems, including network issues with PC's, PLC's, and different man-machine interfaces.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, such as power distribution, motor controls, variable speed controllers, servo controllers, and robotics.
  • Show expertise in troubleshooting automated packaging machinery operation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting various process equipment, including pumps, valves, meters, and mixing equipment.
  • Have a working knowledge of troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Have a working knowledge of troubleshooting common facility support systems, such as steam, hot water, compressed air, and refrigeration.
  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
