Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 + Quarterly Bonuses
This position requires someone who can provide engineering support to the operations group and is responsible for designing, implementing, evaluating, and addressing manufacturing procedures and equipment. The employee will also oversee projects related to new products, equipment, plant upgrades, and tooling designs.
Staying current on the latest manufacturing methods, technology advancements, and equipment trends is crucial in order to maintain the organization's competitiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline is required
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience is required
- Experience in manufacturing and continuous improvement processes is required
- Evaluate and suggest improvements for manufacturing and quality control processes
- Calculate production costs including labor, materials, and other factors
- Coordinate equipment maintenance as necessary
- Travel to plants to assist with troubleshooting and installation
- Develop project schedules for internal tracking
- Collaborate with various teams to produce monthly key metrics scorecard for assigned plants
- Resolve issues related to transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, and customer concerns
- Prepare and submit required reports
- Fulfill other job duties as requested by executive management to ensure timely and accurate supply chain management
